Prospective authors for either ISASEM or ISASED are invited to submit a 1-page Abstract by email in the first instance. A template for the preparation of abstracts may be downloaded here: 

Abstracts must be written clearly, setting out the aims of the paper, and highlighting the main findings of the study (if these are already known). The symposium for which the abstract is submitted (either ISASEM or ISASED) must be clearly indicated at the top of the abstract page. The maximum number of submissions allowed per person is two. Authors will be notified of the decision on their abstracts in accordance with the time schedule indicated below. Authors of accepted abstracts will be required to prepare a full paper in accordance with instructions that will be issued in due course. The language of communication at the Conference will be English, and all papers must be written in clear English.

Accepted papers will be published by Taylor & Francis as the Proceedings of the International Symposium on Advances in Structural Engineering Mechanics (ISASEM) and the Proceedings of the International Symposium on Advances in Structural Engineering Design (ISASED). Both Proceedings will be available to all registered participants upon arrival at the Symposia.
